Hellraiser: Revival walkthrough: route, saves & stuck spots

A walkthrough of the objective route from the prologue to the final choice, the opening puzzles players get stuck on, and what becomes missable.

· Compiled from three launch-day guides; not a hands-on playthrough by this site

Walkthrough route: every objective in order

The game never shows chapter numbers. It moves you through a list of objectives in the Objectives menu. Game Rant groups them into sections, which is the most useful way to see how far through you are:

Objective route, grouped by Game Rant (8 October 2026)
SectionObjectives in order
PrologueFind Sunny
Chapter 1Escape the Cult
Chapter 2Take Back the Genesis Configuration · Escape Charlotte
Chapter 3Free Sunny’s Soul · Exit the Labyrinth
Chapter 4Hunt Charlotte · Open the Gate to Charlotte · Claim and deliver Charlotte’s Heart
Chapter 5Claim and deliver the Sister of Mercy’s Heart
Chapter 6Hunt Marlow · Claim and deliver Marlow’s Heart
EpilogueReturn to Sunny · Make your choice

Objective names can hint at story events. If you want to avoid that, stop reading at your current section.

Stuck at the beginning?

These are the opening steps that most often stop new players. The solutions below are paraphrased from PowerPyx’s launch-day walkthrough:

  1. The first Labyrinth corridor loops. Keep moving forward; the loops eventually release you. When you reach something that looks like an ordinary room, turn around and go back into the dark corridor.
  2. The first Genesis Configuration puzzle. Use the box to draw fire from one pillar to the other, then shift the blocks so you can reach the exit.
  3. Trapped in the chair. Look down and interact in this order: the nail in your hand, the hook in your arm, then the stitches in the other arm.
  4. The first locked door. Pull the items off the bodies at both ends of the hallway and use them on the door in the middle.
  5. The skull with nails in the office. Rotate the skull so it faces away from you, then press the nails left, back, right, top to get the Tongue Key.
  6. Bruno’s room. Stay crouched and follow the edge of the room. When he circles the woman on the table, take the keycard from the left side of the table and leave through the back-left door.
  7. The diamond statue. Put the Leviathan Tip from the security office on top, then turn the three rings until the pattern lines up. Use the item you receive on the keypad door near the security office.

If the game itself stops responding to input, that is a different problem. See troubleshooting.

Saves, chapter select and missables

  • Each playthrough slot has 2 rotating autosaves and 8 manual saves.
  • There is no chapter select, no free roam after the credits and no New Game+. The only way back is to reload one of your own saves.
  • The Labyrinth often closes walls behind you, so side paths really are one-way.
  • Difficulty does not affect trophies. You can earn everything on the easiest setting.

A simple habit: make a new manual save each time you reach a new area, and keep the oldest ones rather than overwriting them all. The missable trophy list shows where it matters most.

Early habits that pay off

  • Stealth kills with the knife cost nothing. Melee weapons break, cannot be repaired once broken, and are discarded.
  • Collect every coin. Coins cannot be farmed, and you cannot afford everything in the shop.
  • Crafting materials are finite. Crate contents are randomised when you reload, but the total supply is limited.
  • Notes are optional. They add story but are not needed for progress or trophies.
  • Keypad cabinets hold upgrades and ammo. All ten codes are on the codes page.

Boss notes

Charlotte
Set her on fire with the arena’s explosives or with fire drawn from torches. While she is stunned, aim for the head; the shotgun is reported to do the most damage. At half health she climbs to a ledge and throws explosive enemies. Shoot one while she is holding it to knock her down.
Bruno (first fight)
A human boss with a large health pool who tries to grab you in a small room. Keep moving and expect to spend most of your ammo.
Later fights
The Sister of Mercy, a second fight with Bruno and the final boss Marlowe are all part of the story and cannot be skipped.

These notes summarise the linked guides. We have not tested boss strategies ourselves.
