Where do I download the demo?
Use the official Steam demo page and choose Install Demo. The demo has its own store listing, separate from the paid game. Check that your Library entry includes “Demo” before comparing it with full-game guides.
The publisher confirms a Steam demo. The sources checked here do not confirm a console demo; a console store page for the full game is not evidence that a trial is available.
What can I play?
The opening follows Aidan into the Labyrinth, then into an encounter with the Scarlet Church. It introduces puzzles, crafting and combat. The demo listing describes a pre-release build, so its bugs and performance may differ from the retail version.
For a first session, use the demo to answer practical questions: can you read the clues comfortably, do the controls feel right, and does the game run acceptably on your own machine?
Does demo progress carry over?
No. The developer explicitly says demo progress will not carry over. Steam Cloud support on the demo listing does not change that notice. Plan to replay the opening in the full game.
Before you start
- Compare your PC against the listed requirements.
- Check the camera and control notes if field of view or head movement affects your comfort.
- If an interaction stops working, follow the demo troubleshooting guide.
