Use the Elevator: the bell order
- Find the Spirit Warding Bell: spin the music box on the table backwards so it plays, then take the bell from the drawer at the front.
- Place it with the others near the statue and set the order to Marlow, Bruno, Mark, Genesis Configuration, Ascension.

The painted door
Flip the panels in the wall until the painting is complete. The fifth Pain pillar is behind this door, so it is worth doing even if you are rushing; see pillar locations.
What happens after the bells: Bruno again
- The fight starts after you recover the Spirit Warding Bell. Set him on fire and use the shotgun at close range; Hellchains holds him in place.
- At half health he escapes through a hole in the wall. Heal, reload, and follow him to the second, larger area.
- He is faster now and grabs you from his blood puddle; mash to escape and keep the damage up.
- When he flashes blue, banish him. He takes the Genesis Configuration with him; collect Bruno’s Mask once you get the box back.
